Greetings and welcome to a very special episode of the Hip Hop War Report! Today we are very proud to present our second edition of the mixtape showcase. DJ Chela is our focus and the mixtape is called Torch Pass. This concept created by the beautiful DJ Chela, highlights some very talented underground artist as well as industry heavyweights passing the torch to them. Torch Pass features artists like Jay-Z, Immortal Technique, Saigon, The A-Alikes, AKIR, Nas, Papoose, and a plethora of great up and coming emcees. This Mixtape is hosted by GRAFH. In addition to this great piece of work, AKIR interviews Chela and picks her brain on some very important topics. From her love for turntablism to honoring the memory of JUSTO, its all right here on the Hip Hop War Report. All my females stand up and salute! Dex interviews Aisha Shahida Simmons, who is an award winning independent feminist filmmaker, writer and activist based out of Philly. Aisha is also the sister of DJ Drama.
